Madipu Picked For Bangalore International Film Festival: The occasion that will get together the biggest names and brightest stars in the business under one roof is any award show which recognizes and honors the best talent.


Bengaluru International Film Festival will be held from February 2, 2017 to February 9, 2017. The Film screenings are scheduled in two cities Bengaluru and Mysuru.

A Big surprise and a proud moment for all Tulu cinema creators and audience because one of the Tulu Cinemas have been nominated in Bengaluru International Film Festival.

Yes! You heard it right. Chethan Mundadi’s Tulu Cinema Madipu has been nominated in the list of Unsung Incredible India at the 9th Bengaluru International Film Festival.

A special section “Unsung Incredible India” is being created to showcase films made in Indian dialects like Tulu, Kodava, Banjara from Karnataka, Khasi, Wancho, Dogri, Chakma, Rajbhanshi and others from North East.

Madipu is completely different when compared to Tulu cinemas till date. The film narrates a real story based on real incident happened in Belthangadi 50 years back with person who performs Bootha kola (ancient ritualistic dance) as well as the relationship between Hindus and Muslim. Madipu has be directed by Chethan Mundadi and produced by Sandeep Kumar Nandalike.
