Ace director of Sandalwood ‘Rishab Shetty’ joins Tulu film ‘Girgit’ success meet held at Bengaluru.
Addressing press Rishab Shetty said ‘Girgit’ is a good effort. With limited audience of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district, based on regional content and language Tulu film Industry doing great effort”.
“Rakesh Kadri director of the film is my friend who also worked as assistant director in my film ‘Kirk Party’, he and Roopesh Shetty jointly directed this film” he said.
Rishab Shetty thanked Jayanna films “I must thank Jayanna distributor of this film, he is doing right work to reach films to all audience right person who knows which area which films to be release”.
“Tulu film “Girgit” is example when the film is good languages doesn’t matter. If you keep doing good films Tulu film Industry will grow soon and I wish to see many film Industries in Karnataka”.
Rishab also said “Tulu, Konkani, Byari all regional languages are also important we should also respect their emotions.”
Roopesh Shetty spoke to media and said “Rishab Shetty is our team’s inspiration, he helped lot to reach this movie to this level. “Girgit” film crossed one crore mark in first week of release in Mangalore and almost reached seven crore, and I am really happy how audience accepted our film in Bengaluru, for the first time a Tulu film running 26 shows in Bengaluru”.
Shilpa Shetty lead actress of the film said “I am amazed to see responses of Bangalore audience, keep supporting our films says Shilpa Shetty”.
“Girgit” is blockbuster hit of the year which made Tulu film Industry proud not only in State also in Gulf countries, film planned to release in Mumbai also in coming week.
