Tulu film ‘Deye Baidethi’ to release on February.

Sakri Motion Pictures, Sooryoday Perampalli directional debut film ‘Deye Baidethi – Gejjegiri Nandanodu’ to release in the month of February.

 


Lakshman K Amin presented film ‘Deye Baidethi – Gejjegiri Nandanodu’ supposed to release this month but makers of the film postponed the release date due to unavailability of theaters and finalized release on 15 February 2019.

Films plot based on 500 year old story of legendary twin heroes Koti and Chennayya’s mother “Deye Baidethi” and her sacrifices.

There are ten songs in film, Director Sooryoday Perampalli written lyrics for the film. Live musical instruments were used to record songs, B Bhaskar Rao composed tracks and Manikanth Kadri has given BGM scores.

Deye Baidethi’s story was taken into project with the help of K Chittaranjan (president of Kankanady Garodi) and Umesh Poojari Belthangadi. Folklore scholar Bannanje Babu Amin, Damodar Kalmadi and Gananath Shetty Yekkar also helped to make 500 year old story into a future film.

Ravi Suvarna and Harish Pujari Kukkunje worked in DOP and Mohan L has done editing part. Film’s lyrics, story, dialogues, production and direction have done by Sooryoday Perampalli.

 “10 years back, when I was studying Tulunadu’s Epic “Baiderla” Tulu folk literature, I have composed ‘Vidhyakranthiya Veeraru Koti Chennayya’ and also have done Telefilm based on Tuluva tradition ‘Garodi’. Later making of ‘Deye Baidethimovie idea has came into mind” says Sooryoday Perampalli.

Renowned artists Seetha Kote, Chethan Rain Maani, Sawjanya Hegde, Ammith Rao, MK Matt and others will be seen in the film

Folklore scholar Bannanje Babu Amin, Damodar Kalmadi, Cheluvaraj Perampalli, Actor Ammith Rao, Art Director Ravi Poojari, Sanjeev Poojari and Umesh Belthangadi were present in the press meet held at Udupi.
