Tulu Film Producers Protest against removal of Tulu Film

Tulu Film Producers Association (Tulu Chalanachitra Nirmaparkara Sangha) protested today against the removal of running film “Arrey Marler” for upcoming Telugu film in Prabhath Theater, Mangalore.

Film Arrey Marler was released all over twin districts on 11th August 2017, theater Prabhath been a base screening theater for the film “Arrey Marler”.

Protester says “film is running successfully and given a good collection for the theater”, Tulu Chalanachitra Nirmaparkara Sangha President Rajesh Brahmavar, director of the film Devdas Kapikad, Ln Kishore D Shetty, Tulu director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, Prakash Pandeshwar, Sharmila D Kapikad and others were present. After certain arguments, theater owner decided to continue screening of the film “Arrey Marler“.

Fact is there were no protest held for the removal of Tulu film like “Madipu”, “Chapter” and other good films; these were pulled from the theater one week after the release! Later film “Madipu” won a national award and state award!

Protest without any partiality is good for the Industry!
