Tulu film Release war? ‘Annappa’ vs ‘Yera Ullerge’
Yet another release war set between two films in Tulu film industry! This time it’s between Big budget film ‘My Name is Annappa’ and Devdas Kapikad’s ‘Yera Ullerge’.
After the grand audio release, Mayur R Shetty directorial ‘My Name is Annappa’ announced release, which is on 21st of September, and the same week ‘Yera Ullerge’ also announced the release date and sets a release war!
Even though Tulu film has smaller market, makers fight here for the release date. Earlier in this year Tulu film ‘Appe Teacher’ and ‘Thottil’ were released on the same day, and at the end ‘Appe Teacher’ won the audience love and completed 100 days!
This time it’s different! Devdas Kapikad is a well-known director of Tulu film Industry and Arjun Kapikad has huge fan followers and in other side ‘My Name is Annappa’ also has huge list of comedians in big budget film! Will ‘Yera Ullerge’ stands in-front of the quality of ‘My Name is Annappa’? We need to wait and watch.
Devdas Kapikad’s ‘Yera Ullerge’ is a comedy entertainer film; shooting of the film was completed in just 15 days, film starring Arjun Kapikad, Rashmitha Chengappa, Anoop Sagar, Aaradya Shetty.
Mayur’s ‘My Name is Annappa’ has huge star cast in the film, Manju Rai Muloor and Shubha Shetty in lead role, Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Sathish Bandale, Umesh Mijar,Gopinath Bhat, Chethan Rai Mani, Hithesh Kapinadka, Lakshman Kumar Mallur,Shraddha Salian, Shobha Shetty, Chanchala Bhat and renowned comedian artist of Sandalwood Rangayana Raghu will be seen in the film.
