Karnataka State Film Awards 2018 : Tulu film ‘Dayi Baithedi’ banged three awards!
Director Sooryoday Perempalli directional film ‘Dayi Baithedi’ banged three state in The Karnataka State Film Awards 2018.
The Karnataka State government has declared the winners of State Film Awards 2018. The awardees were announced by Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Friday, on January 10. A total of 31 film award winners were declared.
Tulu film “Deyi Baidethi” was released in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada on February 15 2019. Two hours and 50 minutes movies showcase sacrifices of “Dayi Baidethi” who’s the mother of Tulunadu’s legendary twin hero Koti – Chennayya.
Film banged three awarded under Regional film category for the Best Regional Film, Best Director (Regional Category) Sooryoday Perempalli and Best Playback Singer (Female) Kalavati Dayananda.
