Tulu film Madipu Released

Asta production banners Chethan Mundadi directorial film ‘Madipu’ released today 10th March 2017 all over Dakshina Kannada. Madipu is a first art film which is screening nine cinemas.

Earlier Art film Madipu was screened in Bangalore International Film Festival held on February 2017 and got and outstanding response.

Madipu’s Casting includes Neenasam Satya, Chetan Rai Maani, M K Matta, Seeta Kote and others are in supporting role. Film shot in locations like Karkala, Sauthadka and nearby places of Belthangadi.

There are more than 10 Bits in this film and 4 songs. Music Director V Mahohar collected ‘Tulu Pardana’ from many places around Tulunadu to compose for this film and he also sung two songs for this film. Other songs are sung by Dayanand Kattarsar and Ajay and others.

This film is quite different when compared to previous Tulu films, a new fresh story which is based on real incident happened in Belthangadi 50 years back with the person who performs Bootha Kola (ancient ritualistic dance). Story of this film also narrates Hindu-Muslim relationship. Film is produced by Sandeep Kumar Nandalike.
